Usually when I feel like a snack, I am actually craving something starchy, something crunchy â€“ probably a high calorie food.
To turn this snacking crave into a healthy addition, I try my best to carry healthy snacks with me at all times and stick to my scheduled time for meals.

If you have junk food in the cupboards, it makes it extremely hard to resist it when temptation strikes. One of the easy ways to lose weight is to remove the temptation!
The healthier the foods in your kitchen are, the more likely you are to choose them instead of processed sugar laden junk!
Always have plenty of healthy foods available, such as veggies, fruits and nutritious snacks.
Eliminating these junk foods from your pantry and replacing them with healthy choices will help you keep your motivation to lose weight.

Once you have defined your goals, it is important to tell your friends and family about them.
This is also important â€“ when you think of the people you are going to ask for support, is there someone that you just know wonâ€™t â€œactuallyâ€ support you?
Perhaps you know they will make comments that donâ€™t really put you down, but put pressure on you to fail?
“Oh, câ€™mon itâ€™s just a little slice of cake!”
“You have done so well, you deserve a break.”
“Are you still trying to lose weight?”

One of the easiest ways to lose weight is to ask that person if they will be your weight loss buddy.
You may want to go out to dinner, and only order healthy things, but donâ€™t want to have to explain to a different friend what you are accomplishing in your food lovers diet.
Your weight loss buddy wonâ€™t ask those questions, and will have the good sense to order a meal that doesnâ€™t tempt you.
This journey is about you accomplishing something for yourself. Â Itâ€™s easier if you have help.
